At Niitty-Seppälä, we grow several different strawberry varieties, including Polka, Falco, Malwina and Jenkka. We also grow strawberries in polytunnels. In the coming summer, we will have approximately 15 hectares of strawberries in total.

We grow approximately 5 hectares of sweet sugar peas. All our peas are sold in the farm shop, directly from field to table, with no middlemen involved.

Sweet raspberries are picked fresh every day from the farm’s polytunnels.

The farm’s soil is also ideal for growing potatoes. Our potatoes are harvested by hand using traditional methods and a hoe. During the summer season, potatoes may be dug up several times a day, ensuring that they are always fresh and of the highest quality. We grow several different potato varieties on the farm, including Annabelle, Siikli and Solist.

The vegetables and fresh produce sold in Niitty-Seppälä’s farm shop are guaranteed to be Finnish-grown, harvested either from our own fields or by local farmers.
